Our website news flash (November 8) makes the important point that people are being massacred in conflict outside of Gaza/Israel and – seemingly- asks the question why we don’t focus on all the other death and destruction occurring in the rest of the world. Fair point. However we are currently all watching Al Jazeera or BBC or ITV and we see graphic images every day that capture our immediate attention. Images that everyone is talking about. Personally, I don’t think this is the right time for SPGB to avoid the subject that everyone is talking about.
