To all Members,
The Executive Committee, at its meeting on Saturday 7th January 2012, agreed to proposals from the Election Dept to contest two seats in the forthcoming Greater London Assembly Elections, which will be held on Thursday 3 May 2012. They are Lambeth & Southwark where the candidate will be Cde Danny Lambert and Merton & Wandsworth where the candidate will be Cde Bill Martin.
Therefore, we require a draft text to be considered for for the Party Election manifesto. It should be not more than 500 words and the closing date for entries is the 31st January 2012. They will then be considered by the EC at it’s meeting of 4th February 2012.
Submissions can be made to Head Office either by post to the Socialist Party, 52 Clapham High Street, LONDON, SW4 7UN or by email.
