Anarchism to be taught in schools

The descriptions of Bakunin and Proudhon seem a bit tendentious. I thought Bakunin was more into comic opera insurrections.

In the current Socialist Standard in the Book Review section Adam Buick revirews "Who's Afriad of the Easter Rising?". He states people who are prepared to die for their beliefs deserve some respect. Cannot and do not agree with this. I am sure Adam didn't this to intend support for suicide bombers etc. I think we should reserve our respect for those who are conscripted against their will or even more so for the really courageous who refuse to be conscripted and take all the consequences for refusing.

I think there is a bit more to Bakunin than this caracture of a bomb-throwing terrorist.

I agree it's unfair to call Bakunin a bomb-throwing terrorist. I don't suppose he ever threw one. That phase of anarchism (which was real) didn't begin till a decade or so after his death in 1n 1876.
