We are on the side of unions

We are on the side of unions but we don’t tell them when to strike or what action to take. The same goes for the occupy movement surely? Let them get on with it, They are not in opposition to socialism, They are not socialist but then nor are trade unions. We cannot oppose workers’ defence tactics. We offer our case for socialism to them NOT how to run their organisations
