Manchester Branch will be distributing and selling literature at this rally.
The TUC plan is for the march to begin forming up on Liverpool Road near the Museum of Science and Industry at 11.00. At 12.30 the front of the march will set off via Deansgate and John Dalton Street for Whitworth Park (opposite Manchester Royal Infirmary), where the rally will take place from around 2.00.
Any members who want to come along can meet up at Liverpool Road at 12.00 (specifically, outside the Instituto Cervantes on the corner of Liverpool Road and Deansgate). This is near Deansgate railway station and Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop. Let Paul Bennett (0161 8607189) know if you'd prefer to meet at Whitworth Park at around 2.00 (on Oxford Road, at the entrance to the Art Gallery). Or you can just turn up when and where suits you and look for the Socialists. Bring some leaflets or other literature for distribution.
