Socialists emphatically repudiate racism

This was the back page of the Socialist Standard March 1981

The text reads:

Socialists emphatically repudiate racism. No one group of people is innately superior to another. From the earliest times humanity has been continually intermingling to the benefit of the whole human race. The interest of all workers throughout the world is the same – the abolition of capitalism and its replacement by socialism. Away with the barriers of nationality and the prejudice of race, and unite for socialism.

Dangers of racism
The use to which the Nazi regime put their race theories stands as a warning to the working-class of the dangers they fall victim to when they lend a willing ear to them. With the Nazis the doctrines of racialism reached their logical and inevitable conclusion: the complete and utter prostitution of the true facts to the false theory. As for the results of these doctrines in terms of human suffering and misery, they defy description. Millions of human beings finally fell victim to the Nazis’ policy of racial extermination.
