Obituary: James Urquhart

Comrade James Urquhart of Edinburgh Branch died on 17 April, having been ill for some time.

Jimmy had been a member of the party, on and off, for over forty years. Not a speaker or a writer for the party, but an invaluable worker in spreading the Socialist case. A true friend to his comrades and an uncompromising defender of socialist principles to any opponent. The Socialist movement cannot afford to lose men of the stature and knowledge of Jimmy Urquhart.
