Israeli troops massacred 45 Palestinians in Gaza on Sunday and further restricted aid shipments, in the deadliest day since the announcement of a “peace” agreement 10 days ago.Since the announcement of the “ceasefire” agreement, 97 Palestinians have been killed in 80 separate violations of the terms of the agreement by Israeli forces. In addition, 230 people have been injured in these attacks.
The ongoing Israeli massacres and deliberate restriction of food make it clear that the “peace” agreement was nothing but a cover for the ongoing genocide. Governments in the Middle East and in Europe and all major media publications hailed the agreement as a breakthrough and a major step toward peace. It is no such thing. It merely cements and makes permanent the Israeli occupation of Gaza and gives diplomatic cover for daily massacres and deliberate mass starvation by Israel.
While the “ceasefire” agreement led to the release of all remaining hostages held by Hamas, it made permanent the Israeli occupation of over 50 percent of the enclave. This has created the conditions for Israel to continue to massacre and starve the population of Gaza with impunity, the only change being that this takes place with a fig leaf of “diplomacy.”

ParticipantSo much talking against third-world countries’ military-police operations. Chickens came home to roost. The state, since its emergence in human society, has been created in order to repress the working class

The $170 billion in new funding for immigration enforcement operations that the Republican Party included in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act earlier this year led some to warn that the Trump administration was ramping up spending at anti-immigration agencies not just to fund its attacks on migrants, but to deploy federal forces against anyone it wanted to across US communities.

ParticipantIt is another scenario like Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. It can create a revolt in a whole region, and many guerrilla groups and militias can be reactivated. It is a region surrounded by mountains and jungles, and those armed groups know how to survive in that type of environment.
It might become a good weapons market for China and Russia, similar to the war in Central America against the Nicaraguan Contras, the Condor operation and the death squads, and all of them were defeated.
The pretext this time is drug trafficking and the drug cartels ( before it was the fight against communism ), but they have existed for many decades, and the agencies against drug trafficking are also part of the same business, and they share the profits. Hundreds of books with solid evidence have been written about that capitalist business.
Jesús Esquivel’s book La CIA, Camarena and Caro Quintero details with extensive evidence how the CIA helped finance Mexico’s first major drug cartel, the Guadalajara cartel, facilitating its alliance with Colombian narco-traffickers, as Mexican kingpin Caro Quintero trained Contra combatants at his ranch in Veracruz.

When Rumsfeld went to Central America, he asked all governments to disarm themselves, but they were already disarmed; they only had old Soviet armaments, and they did not have any parts or screws to fix them, like Iraq had a cemetery of MiG planes. Like Castro said: The USA want all countries in Latin America to own machetes, mochas and kitchen knives.
All those gangs that exist in Haiti were part of the Tonton Macoute, paramilitary groups organised by the USA during the government of Duvalier, and now they are out of control and involved in drug and weapons trafficking and the assassination of presidents and state ministers.

ParticipantA reformist is not a threat to capitalism
‘I’ll be cheering for him’: Takeaways from Trump and Mamdani’s surprisingly cordial meeting
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cvgqd42gl0qo
US President Donald Trump met New York City’s newly elected mayor Zohran Mamdani at the White House in what was billed as the political showdown of the year – but instead became a praise fest.
In his election victory speech, the self-described Democratic socialist mayor called Trump a “despot.”
And before Friday’s meeting, the president’s spokeswoman had billed Mamdani’s visit as a “communist coming to the White House”.But standing side-by-side in the Oval Office, the two men struck a surprisingly conciliatory tone.
Over and over, both men emphasised their shared interest in addressing New York City’s affordability crisis. They smiled often, and Trump even appeared amused as reporters asked him about the political attacks Mamdani had fired his way.The tone of the meeting appeared to strike political observers off guard, but it offered a signal that both men understand that tackling the affordability crisis is critical to their political success.
Whether the truce will last once Mamdani takes office on 1 January remains to be seen.
Until then, “I’ll be cheering for him,” Trump said.

“I feel very confident that he can do a very good job,” Trump said of Mamdani after their White House meeting. “I think he is going to surprise some conservative people, actually.”Asked by another reporter if he was standing next to a “jihadist”—as Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) called Mamdani over his support for Palestinian liberation and opposition to Israel’s genocide in Gaza—Trump said, “No… I met with a man who is a very rational person.”

Joe Biden supported a Jihadist to overthrow the government of Syria, and was welcomed at the white house by Dondla Trump , and Obama supported several of them too. The Taliban were called the freedom fighters-

ParticipantA more entertaining article than the BBC’s is this, where the keyword may be ‘surreal’: https://www.politico.com/news/2025/11/21/trump-mamdani-make-love-not-war-00665861
As for the David North Trots (i.e the WSWS), they title their article ‘Mamdani announces “partnership” with hated would-be dictator Trump’. Here, the keywords are ‘disgusting’ and ‘grotesque’:
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2025/11/22/mzez-n22.htmlIf you want to actually watch the 30-minute Mamdani-Trump news conference (never a dull moment), it’s here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDanzN1EUeE

ParticipantIn the course of the press conference, Mamdani was asked about the resolution against ‘socialism’ that had just been passed by the lower house of the American parliament. Here’s about that resolution:
Or, skip directly to the text of it: https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-concurrent-resolution/58/text

I have read all those articles; I just published a few of them. I could have published more of them at the proper time. This thread is more about Donald Trump’s presidency than anything else
I know that Trump is not a dictator, and he is not a fascist either, and I know that in advanced developed capitalist countries with limited bourgeois democracy, a personal dictatorship can not be established
I know that the WSWS is a Trotskyist organisation, but they cover news that the SPGB has not published yet, and I know that the DSA is a reformist organisation that is infiltrating some of its members within the Democratic Party to become representatives, senators, mayors, or governors, and the WSWS is running their own independent campaign too
Propaganda against socialism in the USA has existed for several decades, and the scare against communism has existed before the emergence of the soviet union, and it has been totally distorted by the right-wingers and the left-wingers. During the campaign of McCarthy, several members of the CPUSA were sent to prisons, others were executed, and most of them were innocent
With the propaganda made by some left-wingers like Bernie Sanders and Mamdani, the concept of socialism ( a social democrat view ) has been spread among a few men and women within the American youth
More radical than Mamdami has been elected as president in Latin America, including Salvador Allende, Boric, Bosh ( founder of a ‘Marxist’ political party, and studied Marx works ), and Hugo Chavez ( who read several works of Marx, Lenin and Trotsky ) and Fidel Castro, and they were forced to follow the pull of the market system.
At present, a former member of the Communist Party of Chile is running as president, and she obtained about 30% of the votes against a right-winger. Puerto Rico, which is a territory of the USA, formed a leftist coalition during the last election, and they obtained a second place.
Most of the supporters of Mamdami are Latin American workers and especially Puerto Ricans, who are the same supporters of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Cortez who is another member of the DSA and will probably run as senator or for the USA presidency
He is not new; he is something new and extraordinary for the American workers
Daniel DeLeon ( SLP of America ) ran for president several times. The CPV is saying that he was born and grew up in Venezuela
