    Daily Telegraph piece:

“Inside German voters’ unstoppable slide into the arms of the far-right”

If the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) does end up getting into power, its is likely going to have all sorts of consequences for the political landscape in Europe. For one thing, the AfD is quite sympathetic to Russia, so this will have implications for the current war in Ukraine. Not too sure what their views are regarding Trump, but I understand their general stance is supposedly “anti-American.”

Anything that reverses the march to war with Russia will be a relief.

But, if “leaders” are pushed by the capitalist system, if the AfD were elected, wouldn’t they have to continue to blow the war trumpet, since German capitalism is demanding it?

And if German capitalism is not what’s driving Merz & Co. to war, then what’s the logic? What are we seeing?
