This is good. And Starmer too.

“France summoned Italy’s ambassador following “unacceptable” comments by Italian deputy prime minister Matteo Salvini mocking President Emmanuel Macron for supporting Ukraine, diplomatic sources said Friday.
Ambassador Emanuela D’Alessandro was summoned Thursday after Salvini, whose party is a junior partner in the Italian government, said that if Macron favours sending European troops to Ukraine as a part of a security force, he can put on a helmet and “go himself”.

Macron and Starmer should enlist as privates and be put on potato-peeling punishment duty.

So far, Finland has been the only NATO state to signify that it expects relations with Russia to improve after the end of the war in Ukraine.

Still no elucidation on this question.

Capitalism, though insane, is supposed to have its own logic. Namely, that states fight wars to open markets, seize and secure trade routes, and open the way to greater accumulation of capital.

I am not seeing any of this in Europe’s frenzied militarism. I am seeing European states closing themselves off from markets, militarising without any benefit to their economic aggrandisement (quite the opposite), depriving themselves of resources and isolating themselves by insisting on a russophobic path that their master, the US, launched them on but is now lukewarm to.

It is like symptoms which linger after an infection has passed. A frenzy that lingers after the mover has given up on it.

Why, generally, is it the elderly and retired element of the proletariat who are in favour of conscription and militarization (re: the Bundeswehr drills in Hamburg), and for sending their grandchildren off to die?

There has to be a serious flaw in their grandparental bond of affection instilled by nature, supposedly.

Children must be “fit for war.”

Russia Could Deploy Oreshnik Missiles to Cuba as Response to Tomahawk Transfers
    08.10.2025 19:43

Russia could place the long-range Oreshnik missile system in Cuba, a move Moscow might use to respond to any U.S. decision to supply Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, suggested Colonel Viktor Baranets, a commentator for the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper.

Put the Gun to the US — Again

Baranets argued that Russia repeatedly warned the United States and NATO not to move closer to its borders. Stationing Oreshnik systems on Cuban soil, he wrote, would let Moscow “again put a gun to the fatty backside of the USA.” He also proposed that Moscow could restore not only an electronic-intelligence centre on the island but also bases for ground, naval, and air forces.

And with Moldova’s stance, Russia will be compelled to invade it as well, which will legitimise the western warmongers further, maybe finally provoke a European war.
