Capitalism spoils the technology it invents; here are a couple of examples:

– E-mail started as a quick & easy alternative to writing & sending letters. Now, our e-mail inboxes are stuffed with junk mail.

– Social media started as a fun little way for friends & family members who live far away from each other to stay in touch. Now, it’s full of conspiracy theorists & people after our money.

Finally, I’ve always owned a dumbphone & have never regretted it.

Here’s some clarification on labelled generations (two of which are mentioned in the article):

– The Greatest Generation (born in the 1920’s & ’30’s)

– Baby Boomers (’40’s & ’50’s)

– Generation X (’60’s & ’70’s)

– Millennials (’80’s & ’90’s)

– Generation Z, also known as: Zoomers (2000’s & ’10’s)

– Generation Alpha (2020’s & ’30’s)

IMO, there’s no such thing as labelled generations. Think of it: the very oldest Millennials were in their early 20’s when 9/11 happened, whereas, the very youngest were infants.
