KeymasterA section for articles by Harry Young has been created on the Marxist Internet Archive here:
https://www.marxists.org/archive/young-harry/index.htm
It contains 45 articles written by him between 1943 and 1989 for the Socialist Standard. Also a pamphlet against war that he wrote in 1922 for the Young Communist League of which he was then a leading member.

KeymasterEmail received from Andrew Whitehead, former BBC radio journalist:
I now have a page of my website devoted to Harry Young, including the audio of two long interviews I did with him and of two radio programmes in which I had no role but which featured Harry. This material posted is almost all about his CPGB days. There are a few mentions of the SPGB. I hope it may be of interest to you and your colleagues.December 7, 2022 at 4:39 pm #237465ALB

ParticipantAndrew Whitehead made another blog entry (in 2021) which mentions Harry Young, prompted by Andrew picking up some old copies of the Standard. It’s worth a read: https://www.andrewwhitehead.net/blog/the-spgb-and-the-standard-of-socialism
And he also posted this not too long ago, after popping in to Head Office: https://www.andrewwhitehead.net/blog/the-clapham-party-

ParticipantWas just scanning through and saw this.
“The working class cannot be “better off”. They can either be slaves or free.”
I think the SPGB has been using radical republican tropes all the way through it’s existence, even if it may not have consciously labelled them as such.
