(Pannekoek).I would in fact say that most animals are social.How do you square this with your contention that humans are not animals (!) and are the only social beings?
We all combine instinct (genetics) with learning (culture) – and that goes for others and not just humans. Yet arrogant humans misuse the word "instinct" in order to deny other animals reason and choices.
