    I am not sure, but I don’t think there are any indigenous Formosans left. Whichever side they support, the population are I believe all Chinese, with some the descendants of Japanese and Chinese great-grandparents.

    Why would China move on Taiwan now, regardless of Japanese nationalists, when Taiwan has not yet declared independence?
