An interesting theory for talking over a few pints in a pub…we have had so many hyphenated capitalisms, this simply says we are regressing to a form of feudalism.
..It is of course BSYes both are / where systems for a minority to extract surplus labour from the majority but they are crucial differences (in feudalism the surplus is extracted by the direct threat of force, in Capitalism it is extracted indirectly through dependance on market structures) and to ignore these plays into the hands of those who think the solution is to be found in a market based society.
