Interesting article I stumbled upon about AI and the potential for it to develop into a kind of “proto-conscious” entity. The article is sceptical (as am I), but it is a fascinating subject all the same….

The potential of AI is becoming more and more prominent in popular culture (not least, with people like Musk going on about it destroying all jobs, etc.): Perhaps the Socialist Party should consider bringing out a timely pamphlet on the whole subject….
