Probably, he comes from a Jamaican family or from a family of the Virgin Islands and grew up in the USA influenced by their ideas. There have been too many progressive movements within the Africans descendants in the Caribbean islands and many of them have moved to the USA. Most of the socialist thinkers that have existed in the USA have come from others nations including Canada and England. What? Looks to me like the young guy is just angry and eloquent. He's got other videos on his channel where he talks about the war machine. He sees through it all. Of course there's the very real possibility that if he heard the word "Socialism" even mentioned once he might balk. Still he's on the ball. Shame he only got a few hundred views. The comments section for his videos is also exciting.
