The following request has been received from Campaigns Committee/Outreach department –
Re: "Media Enquiries. A list of members willing and able to respond to media enquiries and discussions (e.g. interviews or ‘phone-ins’ etc) should be maintained and made available to the Media Committee. Eventually, the M.C. shall maintain a “duty roster” of media speakers.The Outreach Department shall make plans to recruit, train and support members on this list, liaising with SPGB branches (including Central), which could involve overseas WSM groups and Companion Parties. [my emphasis, ajj ] Progress shall be reported to the EC quarterly."

However, they can be and some are subscribed to Spopen at:https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/spopen/infoHaven't looked at it for ages myself but I see it's still going.
This may well be a change in policy since i was moderator of both forums, ALB. (or perhaps i misunderstood and applied the wrong policy at the time, which wouldn't be at all surprising)Previously, companion party members could join and send messages to Spopen since it was a discussion forum on theory, open to all WSM members to exchange views and opinions…but they were excluded from posting on Spintcom since that was an internal forum for SPGB members only for party business. But no harm done in posting the invite here and i hope some will take up the opportunity and be able to contribute to the international media.
