The April 1970 edition of the Socialist Standard had the theme ‘Lenin Distorts Marx’, one article in the collection being titled ‘Lenin and the Socialist Standard’. This makes the claim that the March 1915 issue of the Standard possibly carried the first publication of an article by Lenin written in English. The story goes a bit wider and weirder than that, though, involving Keir Hardie and the Bolshevik Maxim Litvinov. The 1970 article can be found here https://www.worldsocialism.org/spgb/socialist-standard/1970/1970s/no-788-april-1970/lenin-and-socialist-standard/ and the 1915 article can be found here https://www.worldsocialism.org/spgb/socialist-standard/1910s/2018/no-127-march-1915/russian-challenge/ .
