Richard Millett KC, said the risks that led to the June 2017 fire at Grenfell Tower were \u2018well known\u2019 by many of the organisations and \u2018ought to have been known\u2019 by all of them: \u2018Each and every one of the deaths that occurred in Grenfell Tower, on the 14 June 2017 was avoidable\u2019\u2026 the building industry companies were blaming each other \u2018in a merry-go-round of blame\u2019 (bbc.in\/3UAFKFc<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Greed was a key motivator and private sector organisations involved in the refurbishment had shown \u2018a callous indifference to anything \u2013 morality, honesty, life safety \u2013 that was not related to the bottom line of the business\u2019, said Imran Khan KC (bit.ly\/3EvquEg<\/a>).<\/p>\n
