InactiveMy Form F.
Reason: A few members and committees continue to prevent me from carrying out propaganda activities and don't even reply with their reasons. I see no point in continuing with my efforts while being treated as a pariah. I will continue outside of the party. No need to expand on the obvious.
fraternally

InactiveOh come on, someone has got to try to dissuade him!

Inactive. At least I am leaving voluntarily, not being kicked out for anti socialist actions. Sock puppet.

InactiveNorth East Regional Branch, even if they're able to convene a quorate meeting, won't be able to process your Form 'F'; you're a member of Central Branch.

That's what I thought but Mike Foster informed me that I am a member of NERB. Mike Foster <spgbschool@yahoo.co.uk>11 Dec (2 days ago) to me Hi, Thanks for completing the SPGB survey – your views are very welcome. I noticed on your reply that you said you're not sure which branch you're in – I've checked with head office and you're still recorded as being in North East branch. yfs, Mike F

The reason for this is because HO has not been informed you resigned from NERB and transfered to Centeral Branch.

You were transferred to Central Branch by the Executive Committee in August 2016 (see relevant EC minutes in the Spintcom Files section – item I. ); unfortunately Head Office records were not updated to reflect your transfer (and that of Linda) which is why Mike informed you that you were a member of NERB. However, if you still wish to resign all you need to do is to contact HO.

ParticipantI think this is very sad that Vin should feel the need to resign and I for one would urge him to reconsider. Anyone who doubts the need for a fundamental reorganisation of the Party should reflect on the all too apprent fact that the Party is in decline and we need to arrest and reverse this decline in quite a dramatic way. The SPGB can ill afford to loose enthusaistic and hardworking working comrades like Vin who now feels frustrated that he is unable to contribute. That is just so absurd. I know there has been a history of animosity between Vin and some other comrades here but urge all concerned to step back and look at this situation more objectively. The SPGB cannot carry on like this. It needs wide-sweeping change like it has never needed it before and this is so obvious to me as someone who has just rejoined. It needs urgently to restructure itself to open up many more channels for people to contribute rather concentrate the workload on declining minority of already overworked members Vin should at least wait to till this whole exercise in reoganising the Party is completed and I hope for the sake of all us that it brings about real change in the internal dynamics of the SPGB

InactiveHi Northern Light. As we were going off topic on the Youtube thread I draw your attention to this thread where I gave my reason for leaving. With regard to membership NERB I was to be transfered back but we never gor around to the paper work. If the branch is interested then i am willing to give a fuller explanation. As Tim was also a member of the AV Committee he is already up to speed. The short answer is that I feel that the Internet Committee (along with a weak EC) is preventing my full participation and this has been going on for too long. Remember those IC members who resigned from the AV Committee because I joined? That was blackmail.I had hoped for a change in personel or preferably a growth in membership but that is not going to happen too soon. Same people, same grudges and prejudices. By not being a member I do not have to frustrate myself in the knowledge that I tried and tried again. This is not the same party as it once was.

ParticipantHi Vin, yes, you were right to move this topic to the N.E. branch site. I have followed this saga from the begining, but as you know, life got in the way and I have missed the plot somewhere down the line. But I always thought there was something not being told, something being held back. Yes, you can be awkward, stubborn and downright cantankerous at times, but that can be a sign of genious (ahem!!) You were'nt "kicked off the project," as you said. You walked, and I probiblt would too, if I were in your shoes. I have seen all of your videos and there is good work in them, but I am not sure why, "INTRODUCTION TO WORLD SOCIALISM SPGB," has been banned. Hopefully, sometime in the not too distant future, you will apply to rejoin (but don't wait too long, as some of us have not got too much time left) and in the meanwhile, keep honing your producer/director/ designer, one man band, video skills, we sure need them.

InactiveAnything you missed, Joe, can almost certainly be found in the EC's minutes. You only have to look. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/spintcom/files/EC_Minutes/

Inactivenorthern light wrote:You were'nt "kicked off the project," as you said.Obviously – not literally – I am not saying someone took a foot to me, but I was effectively removed and I did not walk from the project when the EC awarded MY project to the Internet Committee beause the IC must have refused to appoint me ad hoc member to access the Youtube account and I cannot find reference to this refusal in recorded minutes. which is undemocratic. The SPGB decisions should be open and democratic, in this case they were not. I would love to be proven wrong but the Internet Committee feels it does not have an obligation to explain its self to anyone. Why would I walk, Joe? That wouldn't make sense. I would rejoin now if I could continue with my work. Would that prove to you who is being open here?

I would still like to know.

The Internet Committee is not empowered to appoint. Check out their Terms of Reference. And while you're about it, remind yourself of the Audio/Visual's…https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/spintcom/files/Depts%20and%20Committees%20%20-%20ToR/
