With the absence of our secretary, I would imagine none of us will have anything to say on "Item 4", so we shall move to the next item, which is No.5, E.C. minutes

Motion 5. Reasons people leave the Party. I agree with a couple of those respondents who say it would be good if we knew why people leave, so that we can respond accordingly.Am a bit worried by this reason in the EC minutes;  Form F for Matthew Panton (West Midlands Regional Branch. Resigned as does not agree with Parliament and belonging to a political party). This must not have been covered sufficiently when Matthew went through his Form A.

Its not as if he didn't know he was joining a Political Party. As for using Parliamentary methods, surely he was aware of our stance?

It seems that Matthew did not take in our Object and Declaration of Principles

Well he joined a Political Party, that moeover espouses using the Parliamentary road to Socialism, now he says he believes in neither? Mayhap the Form A needs tightening up, as, it appears, do those putting people through their form A

Do we know if the Form A was done in person, or through an internet application?

Just had a quick look at the "on-line" membership application form and the question of a parliamentary route is covered,
