Minutes of The General Administrative Committee, December 2011

Present: Ron Jenkins, John Ayers, John Ames, Steve Shannon, via email and telephone.

Communications

• Five introductory packages sent out

• Two member questionnaires received, one successful, one under review.

• Minutes of WSPNZ Executive Committee for September, October, November, received with thanks.

• Thanks to SPGB for sending copies of the booklets that we sell/distribute at meetings and events.

Proposals

• Several domain names that point to our web site have come up for

renewal, four now and five in March. Renewing all was accepted.

• Since treasurer Bill Johnson passed away, we need a new cheque signing

system. It was agreed that Steve Szalai who is currently collecting the snail mail and depositing cheques into the party’s bank account will take that job. Steve agreed. Thankyou.

• We currently have just four members making up the Administrative

Committee. It was resolved that other names be proposed in the annual January elections of officers. If you have any nominations, please send them to the party website.

• Adding a Paypal to our website for ease-of-use donations and dues

payments was discussed and it was decided to go ahead barring any major or costly hurdles.
