Can whomsoever has the ability and access, remove the block that makes non members unable to view this site. A quick resolution would be much appreciated,

    Cheers,

If you are refering to a website for North East Branch I am unaware of such a thing. There are no such blocks in place on this website.

Hi there,I presume Steve is referring to the Yahoo group set-up for North-East members, listed here -https://uk.groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/NEB-SPGB/infoIt says it’s a ‘restricted group’ and although signed in to Yahoo I can’t access any of its messages. Previously I could read them ok. North London branch has a similar site, also saying ‘restricted’ (for members), but the mesages there are open to view.Steve, have a word with Bill M – I think he set it up so maybe he can help out. The site gives this as “owner’s  email address” – neb-spgb-owner@yahoogroups.co.ukcheers,Rob

Here's one suggestion as to what may have gone wrong:It looks like the only way to access to NEB list is to join. It looks unfixable. Yahoo may have changed a policy or a box may have been unchecked in error. The only solution may be to set up a fresh group.

A sympathiser tried to join the NE website today but was told it was a "members only site". He could not even view the conversations. I assured him it was in the process of being "fixed", so I would appreciate anything that could be done ASAP. It would be a shame if this problem put off prospective members. I know that is unlikely but you never know! Thanks in expectation,Steve Colborn.

That would be easy then members could be re- invited to join the new site. When it was agreed sympathisers would be allowed to join I emailed a few
