So the Socialist Investment team is in place. Comrade Johnson of Swansea branch is off the bench and limbering up. Swansea is in Wales isn't it? Back in 1977 I was short-changed in Cardiff. Haven't ventured abroad since. I remember reading not long ago a piece in the Times ( my cleaner takes it ) by Matthew Parris claiming that there are more millionaires in the Gaza Strip than there are in Wales. Can't recall what obscure point he was trying to make. I hope these comrades are better at it than I was. This firm that traded in shares sent me a dirty great form to fill in. In one area it said "Please do not write in this space" and I wrote "Okay". I gave up after that. Of course if the whole scheme goes tits-up the Capitalist Class will send round a gang on large, shaven-headed very unethical bailiffs, and we may find ourselves back in a couple of rooms over a corner junk shop up two flights of rickety stairs. But it might be like walking into the heart of deep-red revolution again, and that might not be a bad thing
