Open Day
An invitation to a Socialist Party Open Day on the
occasion of our 104th anniversary.
You are warmly invited to attend an open day at our Head Office on the
14th of June from 12 noon to 5 pm – when we are holding a book sale and
exhibition in celebration of our 104th anniversary.
On view will be historical documents – many of them in very good
condition - and literature from our archives, along with a selection of
back issues of the Socialist Standard from the early 1900s through to
the 1940s – many of which will be for sale! In addition to the above
there are numerous historic pamphlets from various political
organisations for
sale. Besides a large number of books, we also have a selection of
music albums and tapes at give-away prices.
For those who attend there will be a free Socialist Standard marking
the month and year you were born plus a free copy of our book Socialism
or Your Money Back and a laminated A3 poster of the Socialist Standard.
There will be a member in attendance to provide you with a tour of HO
and to answer any questions you may have on our case for socialism.
A free light buffet and refreshments will be available throughout the
day, and during the evening there will be food and drink available for
those who look forward to a friendly chat with members of the Socialist
Party.
Whilst all the above is free, any donations to help us to continue our
campaigning work would be very much appreciated.
